I think this is bizarre crossover month or something. While browsing favorites of authors I liked on FF.net, I bumped into this fic. Out of pure boredom and curiosity, I started reading it and couldn't put it down till I was finished. This is a great tantei friendship fic despite Kuwabara not making an appearance at all. A powerful youkai has ventured into the Ningenkai and is amassing power among the mutants. Koenma sends his favorite operatives undercover at Xavier Institute to investigate and destroy the demon.

Eleven chapters so far and the only concrete relationship I've got so far is 3+4. Everything else depends on how you read it. Besides, this is more of an action story than romantic relationship so it doesn't much matter. This fic is nothing short of kickass despite the weirdness factor in having these 2 universes collide. Be prepared for trouble and chaos. After all, we're talking about Daniel and Duo here. I would feel sorry for the System Lords...just a bit. (not!)

Another weird crossover. XD It really is a bizarre one though. While parts of this story is 'serious', there are also parts of the fic where you want to fall over snickering. I don't watch either series judiciously so the author might have gotten characterizations wrong and I might not know it. From what I see [and the other fics I read in the both fandoms], Tassos seems to get them right. Out of the blue, Jack gets a call about a woman he knew over 20 years ago and gets a son he didn't know existed.

I fully admit that this is a really bizarre crossover that by all means should not work at all. Somehow, this author actually manages to accomplish the nigh impossible. So far, there are 8 chapters [beginning of September 2004] and while I generally wait until a story is longer or finished before recommending, I decided to bypass that just this once since I enjoyed reading it so much. Unfortunately, the author hasn't updated in awhile but they seem to still be working on it so I guess that's okay. ^_^;;; Professor Binns finally retires as the teacher of History of Magic and Yugi is asked by Headmaster Dumbledore to take his place. Meanwhile, there are dark things lurking around the corner just waiting for the right time to strike.
