We all know Shishido was a cocky bastard in the beginning and that he was later slapped down hard by Tachibana of Fudoumine when he finished their match in less than 15 minutes. This fic follows the changes Shishido goes through as he becomes the doubles partner for Ohtori. As the Hyoutei tennis player descends into the pits of his nightmares, he finds a very unexpected person meeting him at the end of the tunnel.

I'm just a Ryoma fan really though for the most part, I prefer FujiRyo above all other PoT pairings. Boy wonder's cluelessness is cute and highly believable. He forgets names, doesn't pay attention to things that should be obvious, etc etc. His entire focus revolves around tennis, tennis and tennis. Oh yea, and kicking his father's ass in a match and possibly making him cry. XD;; So here we have Echizen wondering why he's paying so much attention to Tezuka when it has absolutely nothing to do with tennis. It takes Tezuka a bit to figure it out but certainly faster than Ryoma. XD;; Not so sure that Tezuka would be so clueless about sex though. The first 3 chapters set the basis for the relationship while the rest are glimpses into their lives. Very enjoyable read. ^_^
