Any rec page that does GW must rec this fic. It wouldn't be a good rec site otherwise. I have no idea on the pairing in this. There's some suggested Heero and Duo interaction, but nothing beyond a suggestion. The main focus of this fic isn't the pairings anyway, it's the plot. When he finds out that vampires and zombies aren't as fake as reality suggests, Duo starts to get thrown headfirst into the supernatural world with his fellow pilots. [note: 2/19/06 - This also has another sequel called Anax Tristis. Go read that too! ^_^]

Author's summary: Two boys, conscripted into one of the government's youth training facilities, become the focus of curiosity because of the unusual order that came with them, their backgrounds and close attachement to each other.

Duo is injured during a Preventer mission and it seems that there was a big chance he would never walk again. Heero takes care of him.

I'm surprised I didn't rec this fic earlier. XDXD;; I'm a bit of a shapeshifter freak so it's no surprise I like this fic. BUT! I believe the characterizations are pretty on the spot. And you gotta read the rest of her other fics! ^_^ Heero is scratched by a were and becomes a werewolf the following fullmoon. Just how much trouble is he going to land the rest of his pilots in? This is a huge fic and I mean really long. ~850kb long. But a really good read! However, if you don't like technobabble type stuff, I guess you might not want to read it. I love Jei's characterizations of the pilots. I suggest you go to her site and read the rest of her fics. She has quite a few. I especially like her Moments of Haven arc. Since I suck horribly at summaries, I'm just going to use hers. =_=;;

Thus begins his mission to make his friends happy by setting them up with people. Enter Heero the Matchmaker. Unfortunately, matchmaking doesn't work in ways that fit mission parameters.
